Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two covers worth noting that the artist has done. Katy Perry's praise for her track Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby than a profession. In the end, she began to write the music she composed herself. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her affinity with Bjork's style. To counter her mother's advice that people shouldn't be trying to be famous through her songwriting, but instead recognize the significance of their lives and the impact they have on society. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public to help people realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. This was not known by her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of becoming a star. Her only passion is writing music. Music to her is the only method to experience anything.
